Robert O’Halloran and team leave an internationally recognized executive search firm to create Bird Dog Search, Incorporated in Atlanta, Georgia. Together, this team establishes the very footings of what will become one of the most respected financial search firms in the nation.  Mr. O’Halloran is also selected during this time for contribution to a segment on careers that aired on the NBC Evening News with Tom Brokaw.

Bird Dog Search acquires Atlanta-based Yarmouth & Choate, therefore expanding its reach throughout new verticals and geographical markets. Added technical proficiencies include new recruitment specialties in Finance and Accounting.

2005

The company is recognized as a top affiliate member recruitment firm in the National Banking & Financial Services Network in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. Mr. O’Halloran is also ranked as the Top Recruiter during that time. The NBFSN is the oldest and largest association of independently owned recruiting firms in the United States, specializing in Accounting, Audit, Tax, Banking and Financial Services.

The company opens Legal, Energy and Infrastructure divisions. Having established success in the area of Banking and Financial Services, the company begins specialty recruitment for entire new industries.

BDS Yarmouth & Choate is engaged by a top ten U.S. bank to train their human resource and internal recruiters on successful external recruitment strategies.
